Teejo - La peau de l'ours

La Peau de l’Ours From David and Goliath, Caravaggio 1571-1610. instagram: teejocreator Digital collage In my version, David no longer holds up Goliath’s head… He holds the head of a bear, a symbol of innocence, a pop icon, a reassuring mascot. Because in our era, we don’t topple giants anymore, we behead symbols. The chiaroscuro of Caravaggio against the absurd softness of a bear that doesn’t understand what’s happening to it. Both funny, disturbing and a little tragic. Technique: canvas print Support: latex ink canvas Edition: /10 Dimension 70 x 50 cm Shipped rolled. No stretch. No frame.
