Ten 1961 Proof Sets from 100 Set Shipping Box

Ten 1961 Proof Sets from an original shipping box of 100 Sets delivered on May19, 1961 to the consignor's family. The vast majority of the sets are sealed or became sealed over 65 years of storage. This lot has ten sets, two of which were found open and are photographed. The two sets have a uniform, iridescent coppery-amber sheen across Washington and Benjamin Franklin's profile. The other three coins are less toned but nice. The other eight envelopes are not opened and could have coins like the opened sets or white coins, no guarantee as to which. This is the first sale from six boxes with 525 sets. There will be a smaller group on sale in a Discovery Auction. Some will go to NGC or PCGS for grading
