Magnificent vintage Gold Cup table tennis racket from 1964, accompanied by its original protective cover. This antique piece is particularly interesting for collectors of vintage sports equipment, table tennis, and items related to the history of sport in Asia. Its age, its fine state of preservation, and the presence of its vintage cover make it a particularly sought-after and hard-to-find complete set. The racket retains its period red rubber with its old markings as well as the Gold Cup Brand sticker on the handle. The wooden handle features a meticulous construction with bi-color trim and a varnished finish characteristic of models from that era. The set is completed by the original Gold Cup protective vinyl cover, with its cream and blue color combination typical of 1960s vintage sports design. The original metal zipper is still present and functional. The set shows a beautiful vintage patina, with natural signs of aging that enhance its authentic and historic character. A particularly interesting piece for a collection devoted to table tennis, to vintage sports objects, or to 1960s Asian sports design. A rare opportunity to acquire a complete vintage set dating from 1964, suitable for display as well as for collecting.
