Terracotta

Beautiful decorative relief wall mask depicting the majestic face of the Artemision God (often identified as Zeus or Poseidon), one of the greatest masterpieces of ancient Greek bronze sculpture (Severe Style, circa 460 BCE). This high-quality modern replica, dating from the late 20th century (circa 1980-1990), perfectly captures the iconic details of the original work: the long beard sculpted with precision, the characteristic locks of hair and the god's solemn expression. The finish features a stunning patina imitating oxidized ancient bronze, with subtle shades of verdigris and black, offering a striking visual rendering very close to a true foundry bronze. Dimensions: 31cm × 17cm Weight: 1.1 kilos
