The Armor of God – Lady Knight of the Crusaders – Faith

The Armor of God – Crusaders Knightess – Faith, Courage and Victory. Massive knightess with silvered and gilded finishes, crowned by a circular plate depicting a knight in armor holding a shield with a red cross, encircled by the biblical sentence « Put On The Whole Armor of God », adorned on its sides with enamelled crosses. A high Christian knightly badge worn to clothe the armor of faith and face life's trials with the steadfastness of a spiritual conqueror. In the first century, imprisoned in Roman dungeons, the Apostle Paul gazes upon the armor of the praetorians who keep watch. Inspired by the cuirass, shield and sword of these elite soldiers, he writes in his Epistle to the Ephesians one of the most flamboyant passages of Scripture: the call to put on « The Armor of God » to stand firm against the powers of darkness. This vision travels through the centuries to become the founding oath of medieval Christian knighthood. Theorized by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux in his treatise on the New Militia, this sacred doctrine transforms the warrior into a protector of the faith. The shield becomes the bulwark of divine faithfulness, the cuirass protects justice, and the sword embodies the word of truth. On this monumental badge, the paladin stands at the heart of sunbeams, holding the shield stamped with the scarlet cross at the center of the engraved verse from Ephesians 6. It is the living heritage of the defenders of the Holy Land, an emblem designed to transform inner conviction into an impenetrable force. Wearing this knighthood badge places the protection of ancient orders around you. The presence of the armed paladin and the scarlet crosses on the uprights inspire heroic courage throughout your days, allowing you to hold your ground firmly and triumph over adversity with the dignity of faithful hearts. History & Symbolism : The Celestial Paladin (The Figure of the Knight of God) The central relief depicts the faith fighter in full armor, brandishing the sword and holding the shield. This heroic motif echoes the Crusades narratives and the ideal of Saint Bernard’s New Militia. It embodies courage, inviting the believer to approach every challenge with honor and resolve. The Ephesian Sentence 6 (The Sacred Armor) >The relief inscription « Put On The Whole Armor of God - Ephesians 6:13-17 » reproduces the biblical text urging one to gird with truth and seize the shield of faith. This carved prayer in matter asserts the primacy of divine grace to ward off obstacles and quench the arrows of doubt. The Shields with the Scarlet Cross (The Coat of Arms of the Protectors) The sides of the knightess display two crests bearing a red cross on a dark field, evoking the banners of the Order of the Temple and of the defenders of the Holy Sepulchre. This heraldic symbol stands as a guard of fidelity and bravery, surrounding your home with the strength of Christian tradition.
