"The Bollard" French Compendium Industrial Clock
late 19th century, composed of gilt-bronze and nickel-plated brass, with a revolving lighthouse-form upper portion, the top with an upward facing compass, the sides mounted with two clocks, a Reaumur thermometer, and an aneroid barometer, on a base composed of nickel-plated brass and set with an anchor attached to a coiled brass "rope", a life preserver and a chain, mounted on a black marble base.
