The colors of the Devil's Moor - Gary Westall
The colors of the Devil's Moor by Gary Westall Painting 15.8 x 11.8 :: This is a homage to the Worpswede Artists' Colony. At the Arte art fair in Osnabrück several paintings by artists from the Worpswede Artists' Colony were shown including a painting by Hans am Ende entitled ""Birches at the Moorgraben."" I was immediately captivated by his color palette. Since photos were not requested I memorized the image particularly its color scheme and converted it into a painting. Signed lower left. Oil on linen mounted on MDF - 40 × 30 cm. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Impressionist Subject: Landscape Width: 15.8 Height: 11.8 Depth: 0.3 Weight: 1 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed. Photography and digital works are signed numbered limited editions. :: Purchases on Zatista are guaranteed by our 100% Buyer Guarantee.
