The Descent from the Cross: Second Plate Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn

A good, strong impression of the final state, with the later reworkings, including those to the face and neck of the Virgin, and with the address ‘Imp. Lamoureux r. S. Jean de Beauvais’ at lower right. With wide margins. – With slight handling creases in the margins and minor handling marks along the edges. A few small paper losses at the lower edge of the subject and a black stain in the lower margin. Otherwise a fine example in good condition. | 1606 Leiden - Amsterdam 1669 | 15.-18. Jahrhundert | Druckgrafik | Nummer: 26x2185
