The Landscape with the Cannon Albrecht Dürer

A good strong impression, with some rust marks but with good contrasts and depth; rustmarks mainly around the artist's monogram and date and on the chest of the Turkish figure in the centre foreground (before 1600). With thread margins. – A few brown spots. A tiny, backened hole in the image. On the reverse, adhesive residue from a previous mounting runs all around the edge, otherwise in good condition. | 1471 - Nuremberg - 1528 | 15.-18. Jahrhundert | Druckgrafik | Nummer: 26x2453 | Provenance: Count G. Archinto (1783-1861), Milan, verso with the collection stamp (Lugt 52).

Estimate:£3,337.01
