This title grants the initiate the fullness of rights and the ability to lead the lodge’s works. The dark background represents the darkness of ignorance from which the light of knowledge and truth arises. The Square, the Compass and the G (The Key to Knowledge) The Square symbolizes the straightness of just action, while the Compass represents measure and the moral limits indispensable to the master builder. At the center, the letter G embodies Sacred Geometry and Generation, recalling the universal mathematical order that governs the cosmos. This emblem affords you exceptional clarity of vision to conduct your affairs methodically. The Columns Jachin and Boaz (The Flanks of the Covenant) The relief motifs on the flanks depict the mythical pillars guarding the entrance to Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem.
