A very good and scarce Victorian silver and gilt example, circa 1881-1902, the silver circlet inscribed ‘The Suffolk Regiment’, the seeded centre mounted in silver with a battle honour scroll ‘Gibraltar’ surmounting a castle, key and a motto scroll ‘Montis Insignia Calpe’, the belt loops with universal pattern rococo shoulders, with matching bench marks of four dots, (see Ryan p. 176) very good condition £100-£140.
