Theart (1968) - “The Magnate on the Throne”-Last Unit

Original piece handmade, part of an exclusive series of 3 works. This one corresponds to number 3 of 3 with a certificate of authenticity. On a one-pound banknote from the late 20th century, Scrooge McDuck appears enthroned as a monarch of wealth. Dressed in a luxurious velvet robe and surrounded by gold, coins and sacks full of money, the character embodies the transformation of capital into a symbol of power. The intervention contrasts a pop culture character with a historical medium of economic value, questioning the relationship between money, ambition and desire. The work is presented framed in acrylic glass, highlighting its value as a unique piece of contemporary art. The artist of this work is Theart, an artist born in 1968 who resides in Spain, who began her artistic career at a young age, and whose passion for art led her to enter this world; her style encompasses Pop art and street art, and uses materials such as acrylic paint, spray paint, crystals, and more. #disneyinspiredart
