Theia - Suzanne Williams

Theia by Suzanne Williams Painting 24.0 x 36.2 :: My paintings are often inspired by my love and fascination with ever-changing skies and cloud formation. I try to capture the movement and mood of the skies and sea - Calm and dreamy to dramatic and surreal. In this piece I aimed to capture the tempestuous mood and foreboding eeriness as the sea swells before a storm. I study the sea and skies over Anglesey North Wales and also the Cheshire hills close to my home The sky's layers and rolling waves are developed by forming texture through layering and blending the paint building depth movement and highlights. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Expressionism Subject: Seascape Width: 24.0 Height: 36.2 Depth: 3.7 Weight: 4 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
