Magnificent set of two decorative collectible eggs in natural stone, created by Franklin Mint and drawn from the prestigious collection “The Wonderful World of Eggs,” dedicated to the art and beauty of ornamental eggs. Models: Green Marble Egg and Egyptian Carnelian Style Egg – Franklin Mint – 1990 This elegant ensemble brings together two remarkable decorative eggs with refined colors and finishes, inspired by ornamental traditions and the work of natural stones. Each piece stands out for its tones, veining, and gold elements, reflecting the care given to Franklin Mint creations. The first egg, made from natural green marble, features stunning veins in deep, contrasting hues. Its carefully polished surface highlights the natural beauty of the stone. It is elevated by an elegant decorative node plated in gold and rests on a golden base, giving it a particularly refined appearance. The second egg, titled “Egyptian Carnelian Style,” presents superb deep red hues, with white and black veining reminiscent of carnelian. Its polished finish emphasizes the stone’s natural contrasts and evokes precious objects inspired by Ancient Egypt. It also rests on an elegant golden base and bears beneath its base the original marking “1990 The Franklin Mint.” These two pieces form a magnificent decorative ensemble, marrying the beauty of natural stones with the refinement of gilded ornaments.
