HEMINGWAY, Ernest (1899-1961). Autograph letter signed ("The Old Brute") to Marcelline Hemingway ("Dearest of Ivories"), Kansas City, Missouri, "Two Days before Pay Day" [31 January 1918]. In Pencil. Six pages, 241 x 152mm on Union Station Headquarters Soldiers and Sailors stationery. With the original transmittal envelope addressed in ink his hand and postmarked 31 January 1918 (a tears and a desiccated rubber band affect several letters of text).
