Three Engraved Stone Seals – Agate and Hematite - Agate...

Three Engraved Stone Seals – Agate and Hematite A collection of three engraved stone seals: 1. Large red agate seal: Features Persian calligraphy engraved in two directions. The inscription refers to a saying attributed to the Prophet Muhammad, describing Ali, the fourth Caliph of Islam, as being on the side of truth. In my opinion, the engraving is at least 200 years old. 2. Black hematite seal: Decorated with ornamental Arabic calligraphy and a geometric motif. 3. Small red agate seal: Features an engraved inscription and is possibly of European origin. The stones show signs of age and use. Please examine the detailed photographs, including the close-ups of the inscriptions and the images showing their dimensions, as they form part of the description.
