Through the Mist of Time - Elena Lukina

Through the Mist of Time by Elena Lukina Painting 20.0 x 20.0 :: Original oil painting Through the Mist of Time by contemporary artist Elena Lukina created in 2026 within the framework of In Minor Keys: The Turquoise Silence series for the independent pavilion project at the 61st Venice Biennale [0.1 0.1]. The composition presents an almost monochrome space entirely dominated by the project's signature Dusty Turquoise with rare bursts of light focusing on the texture of grasses rendered in ochre and umber tones. Philosophically the artwork embodies a search for answers in the haze of memory where the tension between the silent background and sharp details creates a sense of movement through the veil of the past. Executed as a medium square canvas with dimensions of 50x50 cm using a multi-layered oil technique the academic palette builds complex tonal luminescence using shifts of deep Relic Ash under atmospheric turquoise gradients. Calibrated with a 432 Hz frequency for quiet contemplation this canvas functions as a permanent visual asset for interior architects perfectly suited for high-end projects when positioned above a luxury fireplace installed behind a minimalist linen dining table or paired with a mid-century wooden sideboard and a vintage armchair.
