Thurn und Taxis 1859/1865 - 15 and 30 kreuzer as a very...

High-quality three-color postage of 15 and 30 kreuzer together with 9 kreuzer on a piece of a cover, totaling 54 kreuzer, with numeral cancel “215” (Wiesbaden) as destination Asia “(via) Singapore,” as still legible on the fragment. The stamps are in good “taxi-cut” margins, the 9 Kr stamp with a clean perforation strike. Over the 15 Kr and 9 Kr, partial ink strokes (probably from routing notes typical on such journeys with many transits). Checked by Haferkamp BPP (the two good values Michel Nos. with a deep impression, and No. 44 with an elevated signature); the Michel value for the stamps loose already €465 (which can only serve as a guideline). Very rare in this form.

Estimate:£6.67
