Swiss. This Timor W.W.W. (Watch, Wrist, Waterproof) field watch is one of the iconic "Dirty Dozen", the twelve legendarily military timepieces commissioned by the British Ministry of Supply during World War II. Housed in a stainless-steel case, it is powered by the manual-wind Timor Calibre 6060 movement and features the classic matte-black military dial, with luminous hour markers, cathedral-style hands, and sub-seconds register at 6 o'clock. The caseback bears standard military issue markings, including the British Ordnance pheon (broad arrow), "W.W.W.", and issue/serial numbers K8159 and 38059. Offered without box or papers on a military-style fabric strap. This lot represents one of approximately 13,000 W.W.W. pieces estimated to have been supplied by Timor.
