Tin box - Iron, cookie tin

Decorated tin cookie box – Italy, 1940s A small object with great charm, capable of evoking the sweetness and simplicity of a bygone era: this tin cookie box, dating from the Italian 1940s, wins you over with its cheerful illustrations and its characteristic basket-like shape. The rectangular body with rounded corners is embellished with delightful scenes of children in a rural landscape, in shades of yellow, green, and blue. The cream-colored base highlights the red arched handles on both sides, giving the box a lively and recognizable decorative presence. The lid also repeats the illustrations, creating a rich ensemble of details. The surface shows signs of its age, scratches, discolorations, and small oxidations, visible in the photographs, which contribute to its lived-in character and the charm of vintage tin. An interesting item for tin box enthusiasts and vintage collecting, but also a suggestive addition to display in a kitchen, on a sideboard, or in a shop window. It will be carefully packed and shipped with trackable service within Europe.
