Hergé - Greeting card / 1983 folding calendar - Signed and hand-dedicated It is with great emotion that I part with this historic piece of absolute rarity: the very last calendar / greeting card from Lombard Editions, published while Hergé was alive, just a few weeks before his passing in March 1983. At the bottom of this superb accordion calendar, each month illustrated by Tintin’s warm universe, Hergé personally left his final thanks and his iconic signature: “With thanks and best wishes from Hergé” A piece steeped in history and nostalgia, kept with the utmost care. Details: - Original Lombard edition (1983) - Concertina folding format (70.2 x 21.4 cm) - Sold as a single sheet (frame not included), ready to be framed as it deserves. Condition: Superb state of preservation, paper is very sound and colors are magnificent. The signature is radiant. Only two discreet traces of glue on the outer edges attest to its former framing (totally invisible under a mat). A genuine treasure of Franco-Belgian comic heritage. Ultra-careful and secure shipping, laid flat between two reinforced cartons.
