Tony Fernandez - Donald Duck Inspired by Monet’s...

• Hand Signed by the Artist • Certificate of Authenticity Included • Ready to Frame • From the acclaimed “Inspired By Collection” • Large Format Original Artwork This beautiful original artwork by Tony Fernandez brings Donald Duck into the poetic atmosphere of Claude Monet’s celebrated *Nymphéas*, creating a playful encounter between classic animation and Impressionism. Donald leaps joyfully across the pond, surrounded by floating water lilies, hanging willow branches and soft reflections inspired by Monet’s famous garden scenes. A small frog jumping from the water adds another humorous detail to the composition, while Donald’s vivid blue sailor suit and orange bill create a striking contrast against the delicate greens, blues and violet tones of the landscape. Created in pastel and watercolor, the piece combines precisely defined character drawing with a much softer and more atmospheric treatment of the surrounding scenery. Layers of color, reflections and loose gestural marks evoke the luminous quality of Monet’s water gardens, while Donald introduces movement and an unexpected narrative into the tranquil setting. ▸ Pastel and watercolor on art paper – Format: 65 x 50 cm ▸ Unique original artwork ▸ Hand signed by the artist Part of the celebrated “Inspired By Collection”, this original piece explores the encounter between the Disney universe and one of the most recognizable themes in the history of Impressionism.
