All auctions / Arts & Graphics / Tony Fernandez - Donald Duck Inspired By Picasso’s “Woman...
• Hand-Signed by the Artist • Certificate of Authenticity Included • Ready to Frame This striking giclée reimagines Donald Duck through the unmistakable visual language of Pablo Picasso’s Woman in a Red Armchair (1932). Reclining against a vivid red background, Donald is transformed through rounded volumes, fragmented forms, and playful distortions that echo Picasso’s revolutionary approach to portraiture. Hand-signed by the artist, this piece belongs to the renowned “Inspired By” Collection – a series of over 600 artworks where Fernandez merges beloved Disney characters with masterpieces from art history. A bold and humorous encounter between Disney iconography and modern art. ▸ Fine Art Giclée on art paper – Format: 45 x 32 cm Tony Fernandez is a celebrated Disney artist with over 35 years of experience, known for reinterpreting classic characters through the lens of iconic painters. His works have been exhibited worldwide and are highly sought after by collectors. ** Express and Secure Guaranteed Shipping.
