This sculptural lamp is defined by a large, round UFO-dish shaped reflector in a warm bronze/brass finish. In the center there is a round opal glass, creating a soft and diffused light. The combination of the broad round disk, the central light window, and the striking technical construction gives the lamp a distinctive Space Age appearance. The design evokes the futuristic lighting that became increasingly popular from the 1960s onward. Adjustable mechanism A notable aspect of this lamp is the beautiful, fully visible hinge mechanism with which the large reflector can be adjusted.
