A superb fossil tooth (Nanotyrannus lancensis)!!!! Family of Tyrannosaurids Formation: Hell Creek Formation Location: Carter County, USA. Geological period: Late Cretaceous Geological stage: Maastrichtian (67 to 66 million years ago) Tooth measurement: 1.41 inches straight-line - (2.1082 cm) This is an excellent Tyrannosaurus tooth recovered from our partner's private lease in Carter County Debate: 1) Nanotyrannus vs. T-Rex (teeth that are longer, thinner, and more compressed with a pinched base are labeled Nanotyrannus. 2) Larger teeth with a more rounded tip and no pinching at the base are labeled T-Rex, scientifically proven!!!! No restoration - no repair. Very nice Nanotyrannus fossil tooth for collectors. The teeth on the distal and mesial edges are excellent. Certificate of authenticity included. 3D floating frame included.
