Provenance According to the current owner, the shirt was personally received from Francesco Guidolin. Guidolin was one of the most important Italian coaches of his generation and later also managed Udinese. This provenance is reported as part of the history of the shirt. For this reason, although the shirt presents interesting period characteristics, it is not being offered or guaranteed as match-worn. Oliver Bierhoff and Udinese The 1995/96 season was Oliver Bierhoff’s first with Udinese. The German striker scored 17 Serie A goals in 31 league appearances that season and subsequently became one of the most important players in the history of the Friulian club. His years at Udinese culminated in the extraordinary 1997/98 season, when he became Serie A’s leading goalscorer with 27 goals. The combination of Bierhoff #20, the classic Hummel design, Albatros sponsorship and long sleeves makes this an attractive shirt for collectors of 1990s Serie A memorabilia.
