The album “Stärker als die Zeit” was a historic triumph for Udo Lindenberg: It immediately shot to No. 1 on the German album charts and had Platinum status after only a few days. It is regarded as the masterpiece of his modern late-period work, on which, among other things, the title song as well as hymns like “Durch die schweren Zeiten” were released.
