All auctions / Arts & Graphics / Udo Lindenberg (1946) - No Panic in Space - signiert - gerahmt
For sale is a rare art card by the Panikpräsident Udo Lindenberg: "No Panic in Space". It was released at the launch of the two Udo Lindenberg stamps "Andrea Doria" and "Sonderzug nach Pankow" in 2010. * Artist: Udo Lindenberg * Motif: "No Panic in Space" (Artist edition by Deutsche Post, 2010) * Item type: Framed art card * Signature: Hand-signed by Udo Lindenberg * Framing: silver aluminum picture frame (Format: 18 x 24 cm) * Passepartout: white, acid-free bevel-cut mat (Thickness: 1.4 mm / Aperture: 9.7 x 14.7 cm), mounted with acid-free adhesive strips * Condition: Impeccable, like-new condition and ready to hang This rare card comes from the official, strictly limited artist edition of Deutsche Post AG from 2010 and is no longer available in official channels. An absolutely iconic collectible that perfectly captures Udo's lifestyle and his love for Hamburg. The detailed and humorous motif “No Panic in Space” invites the viewer into the legendary "Udoversum". The artwork bridges to his musical classic "Der blaue Planet" from 1981, in which he sang the famous "little green men from space". Typical of Lindenberg’s philosophy, the encounter with the extraterrestrials is depicted as a colorful, peaceful festival of tolerance. Visible are astronauts with the word "NASA" on their suits, celebrating a friendly meeting with the aliens against the backdrop of the distant Earth, while Udo himself records the scene in the background.
