The card shows Udo’s unmistakable, humorous “Panik-Stil”: a couple in a beach chair toasting with colorful cocktails to the North Sea island, accompanied by a lighthouse and a cheeky seagull in the foreground. Background to the artwork: This motif is a gallery card for one of Udo Lindenberg’s most sought-after maritime works. The original unique piece was completed in 2015 as a vivid watercolor. Due to the close personal connection of the Panik-rocker to the North Sea island of Sylt, the motif quickly became a collector’s favorite. This specific card was issued by Walentowski Galleries—likely in connection with the ceremonial opening of their exclusive depot “Udo Lindenberg & More” in the heart of Westerland on Sylt in March 2017. The gallery card bears a print signature at the bottom right. Lower crop – “Udopium”: In the lower crop there is the “Udopium” mini-print, released in 2021. This is the promotional autograph card for the milestone album "Udopium – Das Beste” from 2021, which was not available in regular circulation. The card shows the official, iconic album cover artwork in the unmistakable style of panic painting. This print is hand-signed by Udo Lindenberg.
