Udo Lindenberg (1946) - Udo Selige - signiert - gerahmt - 2012

For sale is the absolute pinnacle of Lindian Christmas art: an art card by the legendary Panic President Udo Lindenberg, personally signed on the front by the artist. * Artist: Udo Lindenberg * Motif: "Udo Selige" * Object type: Framed mini print (Official UNICEF edition, 2012) * Signature: Hand-signed by Udo Lindenberg * Framing: Silver plastic frame in the 21 x 29.7 cm (DIN A4) format * Passepartout: Lightly textured, acid-free oblique-cut mount in Off-White / Natural White (thickness: 1.4 mm), mounted with acid-free adhesive strips * Condition: Flawless, like-new condition and ready to hang immediately ("Ready to hang") The profound motif "Udo Selige" originates from the official Christmas special edition for the children's aid organization UNICEF. With his usual brilliant image and wordplay, Lindenberg parodies the traditional Christmas carol "O du fröhliche, o du selige." The expressive graphic shows the artist with hat and cigar, balancing on the tip of a brightly lit Christmas tree and toasting the "Bunte Republik" with a gleaming glass. Rather than a traditional angel or a star, Udo himself crowns the Christmas tree. The image conveys Udo’s unwavering message of freedom, joie de vivre, and an optimistic outlook upward ("Keine Panik"), even in the darkest season, which is dramatically emphasized by the deep black, textured night sky in the background.
