The collection begins with issue no. 41 of October 11, 1914, in the midst of the First World War, with on the cover Feldwache vor Antwerpen (guard post in front of Antwerp). Very numerous articles, photographs and period illustrations devoted in particular to the events of the Great War 1914-1918: soldiers, fronts, battles, artillery, military and political personalities, daily life, German and European news, etc. Several issues are especially interesting, notably those from October 1914 devoted to the operations around Antwerp. The volume also includes issues from 1916. Large old volume with red and black hard binding. Condition: overall preserved considering its more than 110 years, with yellowing and signs of wear. To note: one page (p. 161) detached/torn at the binding level but still present; p. 723 folded and damaged; old repair with tape near p. 724. See photos.
