Ulysse Nardin Freak 28`800 18K White Gold Men's Watch

Preowned–020-88 Ulysse Nardin The Ulysse Nardin Freak 020-88 is a truly groundbreaking men's watch, pushing the boundaries of traditional watchmaking with its innovative design and remarkable features. It's a masterpiece of horology and a testament to Ulysse Nardin's commitment to craftsmanship. With a substantial 44.5mm 18K white gold case, the watch combines elegance and robustness. The bi-directional rotating bezel adds a modern touch to the design. The watch has a unique way of indicating time. It doesn't have traditional hands or a dial. Instead, it uses a revolutionary system where the movement itself rotates to tell the time. An arrow, located on the mainspring cylinder, points to the hour as the top axle, housing a balance wheel and the Dual Ulysse Escapement, completes one rotation per hour. During this rotation, the upper bridge reveals the time. The central axis rotates within the sapphire crystal of the case, creating a mesmerizing and unique time-telling experience. This watch doesn't have a crown in the traditional sense. The spring, located under the mechanism and covering the entire diameter of the case, provides an impressive power reserve of 7 days. To wind the watch, you simply turn the case back counterclockwise. A port on the back of the case allows you to see the spring coils, adding to the watch's intricate design. The bezel can be locked or unlocked by a lever at the 6 o'clock position between the lugs, adding an element of functionality to the timepiece. The movement, UN Caliber 200, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, comprises 28 jewels, and offers an approximate power reserve of 7 days. The watch performs the essential functions of hours and minutes, with the added charm of a tourbillon for precision. With a case thickness of 13.6mm, the watch maintains a sleek and modern profile. The transparent case back, protected by sapphire crystal on both sides, allows you to admire the watch's intricate inner workings. The ensemble is completed by a leather strap, fastened with an 18K white gold clasp, offering both comfort and style. With water resistance up to 30 meters (98 feet), this timepiece may not be designed for deep dives, but it's a perfect companion for special occasions and watch enthusiasts. The Ulysse Nardin Freak 020-88 is more than just a watch; it's a symbol of innovation, craftsmanship, and a unique way of experiencing time. It's designed for those who appreciate pushing the boundaries of traditional watch design and embracing new horological frontiers. One year warranty for all watches.
