Undated (ca. 1793-1795) Kentucky Token. W-8800. Rarity-1. Copper.

Undated (ca. 1793-1795) Kentucky Token. W-8800. Rarity-1. Copper. Plain Edge. MS-65 BN (NGC). A really lovely Gem Mint State Kentucky token, showing a depth and warmth in the luster that is infrequently seen even at this grade level. Nicely struck and showing very attractive frosty light brown and olive surfaces with a hint of woodgraining. No major marks are seen, just a trace of old encrustation between the letters RI in PLURIBUS. This piece is tied for finest seen by NGC and would be a nice addition to any fine cabinet. Provenance: From the Winslet Collection. NGC Census: 9, 0 finer. PCGS# 614. NGC ID: AUBL. Click here for certification details from NGC.

Estimate:£0.74
