Cotton Jack Rackham flag, also known as Calico Jack. Jack Rackham was an English pirate who lived around the year 1720, during the Golden Age of Piracy. He earned the nickname Calico Jack because he often wore colorful cotton clothes. He was a pirate who for a time caused a lot of fear in the Caribbean. Yet he became famous mainly because there were two women in his crew who fought alongside him on his ship: Anne Bonny and Mary Read. With both, he is said to have had a romantic relationship. His story lives on and his name is often associated with the famous pirate flag featuring a skull and two crossed swords. Size: 59 x 90 cm The flag is in used condition.
