US military pocket compass by Longines-Wittnauer from the World War II era, around 1940. It is a round pocket compass in a metal watch case (hunter-style) with a hinged lid and a ring to attach it to a cord or strap. Such compasses were used at the time by the US military and the Air Force (USAAF) and were often part of emergency gear. A unique collectible that could be yours!
