A beautiful photographic volume devoted to the forms, rhythms, and correspondences of the natural world: plants, insects, wildlife, aquatic environments, etc. The photographs are accompanied by scientific and naturalist texts. The section on “River Fish” is notably authored by René Charpy. Condition: Book block in good apparent condition; interior clean. Dust jacket heavily damaged, with significant tears and missing sections at the top, scuffing, small marginal tears, and old adhesive residue.
