Unworn "Adore" Ring With Diamond & Coloured Stones From our Workshop

Few eras produced such diverse, symbolic and ever-changing pieces of jewellery with romantic significance as the 19th century. And hardly any society was as inventive and imaginative as the Victorian era. One particular type of romantic jewellery inspired us to create this ring model: so-called acrostic rings, which conveyed hidden messages through the selection of their various gemstones and which, despite their popularity, have become very rare today. The message of our ring is based on the type of so-called Adore ring, which represents this very word in code through the initial letters of its gemstones: Amethyst (amethyst), Diamond (diamond), Opal (opal), Ruby (ruby), Emerald (emerald). Translated, the word means "to love devotedly" and was one of the most popular messages to be spelled out in the form of precious stones in Victorian times. We have had the five gemstones set in a ring of high-carat gold based on a turn-of-the-century design. Its slender rail and ornamental shapes form an attractive, modern contrast to the bright variety of colors. What's more, all the stones are set in such a way that the ring is also ideal for everyday wear - at a time when its message is more than ever an encrypted secret known only between the giver and the recipient.
