Ursula van de Bunte - Green Tea Essence

The story of the Jelly is a story of images filled with softness, vulnerability, and femininity. These handmade creations consist of 90% water, just like the human body. In these translucent forms the photographer incorporates unexpected elements. Ursula’s Jellys stand as symbols of that delicate vulnerability, but also for the softness and strength of women. The organic shapes of the ‘appealing desserts’ reflect the natural beauty and cuddliness of the female body. Transparent and pure, yet unfathomable because you don’t know what is happening inside. The Photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio located in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries, and at art fairs. Green Tea Essence is a beautiful print on Hahnemuhle Baryta in a 25x25 format and is the third edition of twenty-five copies.
