Val Saint Lambert - Bottle - Crystal - Decanter in Bohemia

Splendid Art Deco Decanter in Bohemian crystal, dressed in ruby red (Ruby Red Cut-to-Clear) – Handcrafted (Mid-20th Century) Description: For collectors and lovers of high-end antique glass, I offer an exceptional vintage decanter in precious Bohemian crystal with ruby red cut-to-clear, dating from the Art Deco period (circa 1930-1950). The piece embodies the mastery of Europe’s historic manufactories of the era (styling perfectly aligned with the famous Nachtmann and Val Saint Lambert productions). The slender body and neck are decorated with a geometrical motif of the highest precision: large faceted ribs and smoothly carved circular openings cut by hand that remove the colored layer to reveal the magnificent transparency and refraction of the crystal beneath. Details of authenticity and collectible value: • Original coordinated stopper: The decanter retains its original elongated drop-shaped stopper with an internal colored bubble. • Hand-engraved matching number: On the base of the stopper is the workshop number incised by the artisan of the time. This historical detail attests to fully handcrafted manufacture: each stopper was ground individually to ensure a millimetric airtight seal “glass to glass” with only the neck of its specific bottle. • Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Crystal is bright, free of cloudiness, cracks, or passing chips. A rare showpiece, ideal to enrich a display cabinet of antique crystals or as a refined serving piece for fine liquors and wines.
