Val Saint Lambert - Charles Graffart - Candleholder Flat Ribs A' (2) - Glass

Gorgeous set of large Art Deco candelabras 'Cotes plates A' designed by Charles Graffart and René Delvenne for Val Saint Lambert and included in the Luxval catalog of 1935 (see illustrations). The pieces are made in clear semi-crystal pressed glass. Both candlesticks are stamped Val St Lambert Belgique. Height approx 30.5 cm, foot diameter 13 cm. Both candlesticks are in very good condition with only minor signs of aging. One of the candlesticks has a flea-bitten foot, the other a small chip on the lower collar (see photos). Small inclusions of glass bubbles and glass strands are normal for the production process of the time. Photos are part of the description.
