Valentina Pufe - Submerged Light

Valentina Pufe – Submerged Light Original contemporary abstract painting, created in 2026. The work explores the interaction of light, depth and texture. Layered relief structures move across the surface like organic formations, while luminous blue spaces appear between them, creating a sense of depth and light emerging from within the composition. The palette combines deep blue, turquoise and cool blue-grey tones with subtle metallic highlights. Depending on the direction and intensity of the light, the raised texture catches reflections differently, giving the painting a changing appearance throughout the day. The contrast between the tactile, highly textured areas and the smooth colour transitions creates both movement and spatial depth. This is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork.
