All auctions / Medals, Arms & Armour / Valyrian Steel Blackfyre Damascus Edition Aegon the Conqueror Licensed

A limited edition Damascus steel replica of the sword Blackfyre, commissioned for the Valyrian Steel collection. The weapon is designed as a two-handed longsword featuring a pattern-welded blade with a prominent wide fuller extending two-thirds of its length. The blade exhibits the characteristic mechanical wavy grain of modern Damascus production. The hilt is composed of a cast metal crossguard depicting two stylized dragon heads meeting at the ricasso. The grip is bound in a dark, textured black wrap, bisected by a gold-toned decorative ring. The scent-stopper pommel features openwork scrollwork and is inset with a large, diamond-shaped red faceted faux gemstone. The blade bears several etched markings near the hilt: the top lines read Valyrian Steel and Collection, followed by the model name BLACKFYRE and the edition number 0345. Below this is the text ONE OF 500, followed by a multi-line copyright notice stating PRODUCED UNDER LICENSE BY JALIC, INC (c) JALIC, INC. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.
