While these are not signed Van Cleef the Topping family who formerly owned the Yankees were regular customers of VCA and either bought these pieces from Van Cleefs estate department or had them custom made. We really don't know why they would have a receipt from Van Cleef. Exceptionally well made and 18k gold, Shuler of course was known to make things for many of New Yorks most famous houses.
