Vanessa Bonino - Sculpture, Contemporary BULL - 38 cm - Plaster, Acrylic - 2026

This captivating contemporary wall sculpture by Vanessa Bonino reinterprets the head of a bull through a bold cubist style. Made of plaster and hand-painted with a glossy finish, the work stands out for its fragmentation into geometric shapes and its vibrant use of color. Angular faces in shades of red, orange, yellow, and blue intersect, creating a dynamic composition that challenges traditional perception. The large hypnotic black eyes give it a unique character. The bold color pairing, with one orange horn and the other yellow, and the red and blue ears, enhances the piece's pop nature and visual energy, making it a decorative and highly impactful work of art. It will be shipped in a solid package with a certificate of authenticity. Vanessa Bonino (Turin, 1992) is a contemporary artist whose current research focuses on the plastic force of material sculpture. Trained in the culturally vibrant city of Turin, Bonino has evolved her eclectic style toward an original synthesis between ceramic tradition and digital languages. Her latest productions demonstrate a deep experimentation with terracotta and glazed ceramic, where ancestral forms — such as the bull or carp figure — are reinterpreted through low-poly geometries or expressionist models full of dynamism. Her signature style is distinguished by the skilled use of shifting cold patinas and glassy glazes, capable of transforming earth into surfaces vibrant with light and color. Addressing themes related to nature and the metamorphosis of matter, Bonino creates works that are both solid and fluid, inviting the viewer to reflect on the boundary between the archaic and the future. Her rising presence in the Italian contemporary art scene is confirmed by an increasingly solid presence in private collections and dynamic exhibition contexts.
