All auctions / Miscellaneous / Vase (2) - Pair of Vintage Art Nouveau / Art Deco Style...
A beautiful and elegant pair of vintage ceramic vases, featuring a continuous hand-painted (or finely hand-touched transfer) scenic landscape décor. The atmospheric design beautifully captures a misty lake or river view at twilight or sunrise, framed by detailed tree trunks in the foreground and rolling hills in the background. The vases feature a sleek, slightly tapered cylindrical silhouette with smooth, rounded shoulders characteristic of the post-Art Nouveau and early Art Deco design eras. The sophisticated color palette blends deep teal, forest green, and midnight blue gradients with warm ochre, beige, and cream tones, creating a stunning depth of field and a moody, poetic ambiance.Such landscape ceramics were highly popular among prominent European manufacturers in the mid-20th century (reminiscent of styles by German, French, and Portuguese potteries like Pereiras Valado or SMF Schramberg). They make an exceptional decorative statement piece for any vintage, mid-century modern, or eclectic interior. Photos are part of the description. This item will be carefully packed, with lots of protective material and in a sturdy shipping box. Shipping with insurance and tracking code.
