Vase (2) - Porcelain - Josef Strnact Art Nouveau - Height 49 cm

A beautiful antique pair of cobalt blue-and-white ceramic decorative vases by Josef Strnact, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, characterized by the deep blue glaze, the elegant twisted handles, and the oval medallions with romantic/gallant scenes. The vases measure 49 cm high, and their substantial size and graceful finish give them a majestic grandeur. A few small chips (see photos), but given their age the vases are in top condition.
