Vase - Ceramic

Hand-painted ceramic vase in a modernist/1950s style, decorated with stylized figures. This is a maiolica piece produced by the historic Venetian manufacturer "U.C. Ancora," active in the mid-twentieth century. The primitive decorative style and the vivid colors place the work squarely in the 1950s–60s. The initials "V.C." indicate the decorator or the specific line, while the number "0100" represents the production model or the serial number of the piece within the limited production. Under the inscription is also clearly visible the original metallized adhesive seal of the Venetian manufactory with the anchor emblem.
