The piece stands out for the richness of its composition: the central vase-shaped body, with a lid and large volute handles, rises above an elaborate structure decorated with griffins, female figures, vegetal motifs, and ornaments in a classical taste. The ornamental repertoire recalls historicist and Neo-Renaissance sensibilities, reinterpreted in the decorative arts of the early 20th century.
