Vaso Art Nouveau Vetro Verde e Argento (Silver Overlay)...

Refined Art Nouveau Small-Jug Vase in Avventurina Green Glass with Silver Overlay Floral Decoration – Austria Elegant and rare vintage Art Nouveau vase, dating from the early 1900s. The object stands out for its graceful form as a small jug, featuring a rounded base that tapers into a long, slender neck, to which a sinuous handle in transparent glass is hot-applied. Technical and Decorative Details: Glass and Color: The body of the vase is made in vibrant emerald green glass, enriched by a dense dispersion of luminous metallic powders (reminiscent of the classic “avventurina” technique). This detail gives the surface extraordinary brilliance and a suggestive "starry dust" effect. Silver Overlay Decoration: The piece is masterfully decorated using the silver overlay technique. The silver coating creates a rich and delicate raised floral motif, with large blossoms and sinuous leaves that embrace the body of the vase in full Liberty style. The upper rim is elegantly finished with a silver collar. Signatures and Inscriptions: On the bottom of the vase the hand-engraved cursive inscription is clearly legible: "Importé d'Autriche" (Imported from Austria). On the body of the vase there are two more cursive inscriptions (also in French), presumably an ancient personal dedication, which adds a romantic historical value to the piece. Dimensions: Height: 15 cm Maximum width (including the handle): 5.5 cm Depth: 4.5 cm Condition/Ih Conservation: The object presents excellent vintage condition. The glass is intact and the silver decoration is well preserved, showing a natural and fascinating patina of time that certifies its authenticity. Packaging and Shipping: The item will be meticulously protected to ensure its total integrity during transport. Shipping will be entrusted to an international express courier, with a tracking code.
