Venini - Bottle "Bolle" Green Apple and Pagliesco - Tapio Wirkkala - 1987 Splendid and iconic Murano art glass bottle from the famous "Bolle" series, designed by the Finnish design master Tapio Wirkkala for the prestigious glassworks Venini in 1966. This specific piece was produced in 1987, a golden year for modernist collecting and Murano glass. The object is made by combining two beautiful color tones: Apple Green for the lower body and Pagliesco for the upper part and neck. The work is a masterpiece of craftsmanship executed with the complex incalmo technique, which involves the hot union of two cylindrical pieces of different color, creating a clear, geometrically perfect dividing line. At the base lies the original diamond-point engraved signature "venini tw 87", certifying its authenticity and the exact year of production (1987). Excellent conservational condition. The glass is perfectly bright and transparent, free of nicks on the collar or deep scratches. Only very slight and physiological signs of handling at the base that attest to its originality and age.
